Old Cuban
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz. Batiste Rhum Reserve
6 whole mint leaves
2 oz. Champagne, chilled
1 oz. simple syrup
3/4 oz. lime juice, freshly squeezed
2 dashes King Floyds Barrel Aged Aromatic Bitters
Crushed ice
Mint sprig for garnish
Method
Muddle the mint leaves with the simple syrup and lime juice in a shaker. Add Batiste Rhum Reserve, bitters, and ice, and shake until well-chilled. Double-strain into a coupe glass. Top with Champagne and garnish with a mint sprig.
